Behind Stories

The site have had many technical problems in the past, and a very long history. It crumbled at the beginning of 2007 due to accidentals while transferring data, and was rebuilt that summer. It was hosted at invisionfree, and had the domain name vcassiopeia.com. Somehow it turned out that didn't work out too well, thus we moved the site to a host, our first host and might be our final, Godaddy.com, and purchased the domain vcassiopeia.net.

The name was suggested by Cecil, and overtime it has become permanent. V*Cassiopeia was connected to the FC, but not too long after the forums was created, we detached.

The forums is still version 2.1 (since it has too many mods installed already). Originally the homepage was prematurely installed with CMS (7 different CMS, to be exact), but because of inflexibility and problems with databases (again), they were removed and replaced with simple CuteNews.

Trong quá khứ, V*Cassiopeia đã từng có khá nhiều vấn đề về kĩ thuật, và một quá trình lịch sử dài. Trang web từng bị sập vào đầu năm 2007 do một số tai nạn trong lúc di chuyển dữ liệu, và đã được xây dựng lại vào mùa hè. Forums được tải trên hệ invision miễn phí, có tên miền là vcassiopeia.com nhưng vì một lí do nào đó nên hoạt động không tốt và chúng tôi di chuyển forums này tới một host khác, host đầu tiên và cũng là cuối cùng của chúng tôi, Godaddy.com, và mua tên miền vcassiopeia.net

Tên trang web được gợi ý bởi Cecil, và cùng với thời gian nó đã trở thành cố định. V*Cassiopeia đã từng liên kết với FC, nhưng không lâu sau khi forums được tạo dựng, chúng tôi đã tách ra.

Forums vẫn đang ở phiên bản 2.1 (do có quá nhiều chết độ được cài đặt). Ban đầu homepage được cài đặt một cách vội vã với CMS (chính xác là với 7 CMS khác nhau), nhưng do sự khó khăn và các vấn đề với dữ liệu, chúng đã được thay thế bằng CuteNews.
